Academic Meeting for Specialty Committee of TCM Dispensing of 

the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies

On August 20, 2022, "Academic Meeting for Specialty Committee of TCM Dispensing of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and TCM New Equipment and New Technology Summit Forum" (hereinafter referred to as "TCM Specialty Committee") was successfully held in Beijing HollyCon Medical and Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "HollyCon"). As the organizer and supporter, HollyCon made great effort to organize and provide services during this meeting, ensuring the high quality of this forum.

The vice presidents of the Chinese Medicine Dispensing Professional Committee, including Wang Chunsheng, Yang Yiheng, Kong Xiangwen, Wu Jiankun, Li Peihong, Shao Yingjun and Li Yuanlong, as well as the directors and members from Beijing.

Due to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, this conference strictly followed the relevant regulations, and it was held in a combination of "online + offline" with live broadcast throughout the meeting. In addition to some experts and leaders from the main forum, directors and members from France, the United States, Hong Kong, Japan and other regions outside Beijing attended the meeting online or watched the live broadcast. The number of online viewers reached more than 2,000 and the total number of viewers exceeded 4,000.

In the opening session, Chairman Shi Hongyuan introduced the innovative strengths of the HollySys Group in automation field and the integration of automation and TCM, and also gave high importance and welcome to this annual meeting. Chairman Zhai Huaqiang summarized the work of the Specialty Committee of TCM in the past year, reporting the Committee in the standard system construction, academic achievements, social services and the management of the Committee, encouraging further construction of the Committee without forgetting the original intention. Secretary Sheng Licheng affirmed the importance of TCM and the importance of government work on TCM at present. He pointed out that the government would further give full play to the advantages of location, industry and policy, and better promote the innovation of development mode, fasten the process of automation and standardization of TCM, contributing to intelligent development of TCM, and jointly welcoming the era of modernization of TCM. Director Jiao Yundong encouraged the Committee to actively carry out tasks regarding the standard system, academic system and social service system of TCM dispensing, and give full play to its important role in standard development, academic exchange and international cooperation. Director Hou Weiwei encouraged the Committee to focus on the safety, efficacy and rationality in the clinical application of TCM, enhancing the standardization of TCM and improving people's sense of security and well-being.

During the meeting, industry experts and scholars exchanged views on hot topics such as standardization of Chinese medicine dispensing, new equipment and technology of Chinese medicine dispensing, progress of international standardization of Chinese medicine, safety of drug use and improving the efficiency of Chinese medicine dispensing through various ways such as keynote speeches and panel discussions, and further discussed the new direction of Chinese medicine in China.
